Since opening its doors in August of 2012, Dellarocco's has become a beloved neighborhood institution, famous for serving authentic wood fired Neapolitan pizzas in a warm and casual environment. The open kitchen offers a great view of the imported "ferrari red" wood-burning oven. The bar features 12 rotating draft beers, many local microbrews and a great selection of wines with an emphasis on Italian varietals. Just a block away from the Brooklyn Promenade, and owned by a close-knit, Brooklyn bred family, Dellaroccoβs is the perfect place to share a tasty meal with friends

Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.
The business lists hours on 2 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 12β9:30 PM. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The service was wonderful! This place has such a wholesome vibe to it and the older staff member was always keeping our glasses full of water. The pizza was also delicious and fresh. You can really tell the dough is homemade it's so soft and makes the crust so yummy. Definitely check this place out :) You can definitely share a whole pizza with someone.

I was first one seated my order came after 2 tables that sat after us. The pizza was so soggy it was ridiculous, more importantly I had 2 identical pizzas one barely has the main topping (anchovies) see pictures. But what drove me over the edge is when I asked him to pack the rest of my pizza which I only ate 2 slices, they come back with a round tin foil canister with the slices stacked on top of each other instead of βI donβt know, something you expect in pizza places like A Pizza Boxβ¦. That was the most unbelievable thing Iβve ever seen. Worst dining experience ever

If you're looking for a very good place for authentic Italian food in Brooklyn, Dellarocco's is a must-visit. We started with the Caprese, which was incredibly fresh, and followed it up with their Margherita and Four Cheese pizzas. Everything we had was genuinely amazing, the flavors were spot-on and felt like a true taste of Italy

This is our very favorite local pizza place! This thin-crust pizza is always made fresh, slightly charred on the edges in the wood-fired oven, and the toppings are generous and delicious. Our favorite meal starts with their avocado salad (with oranges, red onion, spinach, cherry tomatoes in a luscious lemon vinaigrette) and the salsiccia (sausage & mushroom) pizza. We usually get wine (they have a number of wines available by the glass) but they have added some specialty cocktails, including a Royale (a Kir Royale with blackberry!) and a bourbon hot apple cider - both amazing! For dessert, have their cannolis - a trio of mini cannolis that are a perfect ending to a meal there. (You can't go wrong with a cappuccino either!) This is a local Brooklyn Heights gem, with great food at reasonable prices.
